In collaboration with fashion label Rag & Bone, Stand and Build engineered and fabricated a suite of custom retail display fixtures, store seating, and architectural casework for their flagship location in Amsterdam. Constructed in our Long Island City studio, the project translates Rag & Bone’s signature industrial-refined aesthetic into bespoke, multi-material retail millwork designed for international retail deployment.
The scope included a central display console featuring custom hot-rolled steel framing, warm solid walnut casework, integrated low-profile LED display lighting, brushed brass accents, and an inset UV-bonded glass eyewear showcase. Complementing the central casework, our team built a custom transit-inspired subway bench crafted from solid oak with heavy-gauge steel supports and a proprietary custom stain, alongside multi-tiered plywood and laminate display risers bound in custom brake-bent steel edging.
From technical shop drawings and dual-material wood and metal prototyping in Queens to museum-grade export crating and logistics for international freight, Stand and Build delivered an end-to-end retail fabrication package tailored to modern commercial flagships.
